Patrushev: Montenegro is being forced into NATO

Patrushev and Putin

Russian Security Council’s secretary Nikolai Patrushev said there was a continuous NATO expansion and that Montenegro was being forced into NATO, together with Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, he said there were continuous efforts to deploy elements of the US global nuclear shield in Europe and the US anti-missile shield in South Korea, Tass Russian news agency carried.

Patrushev added that the west was also continually trying to undermine the integration process in which Russia would also participate, devaluate the idea of the ”Russian world”, thus jeopardising not only Russia’s security, but also a number of other countries.

He also said that Donald Trump’s election as US President’s didn’t imply an essential change in Russian-American relations.
