Former president of the Municipality of Berane and an official of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Vuka Golubovic, has been arrested this morning upon the order of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT), it has been confirmed for CdM.
Golubovic has been arrested on suspicion of abusing office from when he was Berane municipality president from 2006 to 2014.
As a reminder, when the Zdravo Berane (Healthy Berane) coalition, consisting of the Socialist People’s Party (SNP) and Democratic Front (DF), took office in Berane, it filed several criminal complaints to SDT against Golubovic and other persons and companies associated with him, due to, as they said, costing municipal budget.
