Budva local parliament speaker and holder of the Budva, Our City list in the recently held elections in that municipality, Nikola Jovanovic, said that they had information that there was a mood for the formation of a local government.
Jovanovic scheduled a constitutive session for 7 July, where the mandates of the new councilors should be verified and a new mayor should be elected.
He told Vijesti TV that he expected that the head of the local self-government would also be elected at the session.
Jovanovic explained that some lists had already been talked to, and that he would talk to others in the coming days.
He explained that the “traditional partners” – Democratic Montenegro, URA and other political entities were already known, with whom they had been in power since 2017.
Jovanovic stated that an official invitation had been sent to PES as well.
