Medojevic offending Schroeder, Mandic in the same hall with him

Two DF leaders Andrija Mandic and Milan Knezevic went to Belgrade to participate in the incumbent president Aleksandar Vucic’s election convention on the day when their colleagues in Montenegro marked the 18th anniversary of NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, Dnevne Novine newspaper writes.

Apart from Mandic and Knezevic, the guests at the convention included former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who was in office at the time of the bombing. The two DF leaders’ hypocrisy does not end there – apart from not minding being in a way in Schroeder’s company, they were in Belgrade on the day when they announced holding alternative referendum on NATO membership in Montenegro. They did not explain their supporters why there was no referendum.

On the other hand, the third DF leader, Nebojsa Medojevic, did mind the Schroeder’s presence on Vucic’s election rally, which he announced on social networks. However, he will probably have to explain some of his messages to his coalition partners Mandic and Knezevic, who wholeheartedly support Vucic.

“A vote for Aleksandar Vucic is a vote for Milo Djukanovic and his final takeover of Serbia. Just be strong. Djukanovic’s conquered Serbia through Pink TV, Beba (Vladimir Beba Popovic), Cane (Stanko Subotic), AV (Aleksandar Vucic), BIA (Serbian security and intelligence agency), Happy TV, Ceca (a folk singer Svetlana Raznatovic). Just be strong, Milo,” said Nebojsa Medojevic.

The leader of the Movement for Changes (PzP) criticised Schroeder and Vucic on his Twitter account, not hesitating to insult them as well.

“When he invited Schroeder, he could have invited Wesley Clark too. At least because of Serbs’ masochism. The message is: Bomb us again. We love it,” Medojevic tweeted.

He also said that Vucic could have done even a worse thing – to invite Schroeder to Kragujevac for a lecture to students there in Sumarice (referring to Nazis’ killing of elementary school students there in WW2).

And an insult in the end:

“Schroeder, you swish!”, Montenegrin MP and PzP leader Nebojsa Medojevic tweeted.

Of course, he did not criticise Mandic and Knezevic for their appearance in Aleksandar Vucic’s election convention.

Mandic and Knezevic set up close relations with many Serbian parties who are Vucic’s political opponents.

Mandic has signed a cooperation agreement with the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and Velimir Ilic’s New Serbia (NS), a Knezevic close cooperates with the Zavetnici movement, when it comes to the issue of military neutrality.

Now we see that New Serb Democracy (NOVA) and the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) unequivocally support Vucic.
