New commander of Montenegro air forces

The Armed Forces of Montenegro (VCG) got a new commander of the air forces. Major Drazen Vlahovic has replaced Colonel Zivko Pejovic today at a ceremony on the military airport in Golubovci.

Vlahovic has held numerous command positions in the air force units, including commander of the helicopter squadron.

“General Jokic thanked Colonel Pejovic for professionally performing his duties of the Air Force commander in the previous period and tasked Major Vlahovic with performing new duties in accordance with the Constitution and the law. Major Vlahovic thanked the Chief of Staff and said that he would be committed to work on improving the capacity and capability of the air forces along with his associates,” the Ministry of Defence stated.

Colonel Zivko Pejovic will be appointed as an inspector in the Inspection Department of the Ministry of Defence.

The ceremony in Golubovci was attended by representatives of civil institutions the headquarters of which are located at the Podgorica Airport, as well as the president of the Golubovci Borough, Dusan Radonjic.
